[…] David Belisle is a prolific comedy writer and screenwriter who has a lot of comedy “pieces” in prose form. Typical objects of satire are baseball, Trump, pizza, Canadian politics, cowboys. Worth mentioning is that Berlisle has been writing an ongoing series, Trumpassic Period, consisting of one volume for each year Trump has been in office. He writes and produces the T-Rump Dig Podcast on a weekly basis where he dramatizes the mess that is Trump. I listened to two podcast episodes, and they were fun and silly. I suspect the transcripts of these episodes is nowhere near as entertaining as the podcasts.
